Charged with attempt to murder
BHOPAL: Notorious criminal and BSP candidate from Bhopal South-west constituency in 2013 legislative elections, Pappu Parwe, along with his brother and an accomplice attacked two employees of a liquor shop with a sword as they intervened in their dispute with their owner of liquor shop at Ratnagiri under Piplani police station late on Thursday night.
In the aftermath of incident, both the injured youths were admitted to Hamidia Hospital where they got stitches on head and hands respectively. The police have registered cases under sections 307, 294, 323, 506 and 34 of the IPC against them and later raided the houses of accused from where trio managed to flee.
TI Piplani, Sudhir Arjariya said the complainant Deepak Jaiswal, 30, a resident of Ratnagiri, who runs a liquor shop, told the police that on Thursday night at around 11:30pm accused Pappu Parwe (22) along with his brother Bablu Parwe and Sachin, armed with sharp-edged weapons approached his residence and started abusing him.
Later as Deepak came out from the house and raised an objection, they demanded money from him. On hearing the commotion, two employees of Deepak, identified as Hridesh Ahirwar and Raju, who reside at the ground floor of his house, came out intervene in the matter.
Annoyed over it, Pappu Parwe attacked Hridesh and Raju with sword and later fled from the spot along with his accomplices.In the attack Hridesh sustained injuries in head while Raju sustained in hands after which they were admitted at Hamidia hospital from where they were discharged after treatment.
22 cases against Parwe
The goon Pappu alias Rakesh Parwe had contested the 2013-legislative assembly elections against BJP MLA Umashankar Gupta from South-West constituency is a history-sheeter of Kamla Nagar police station and as many as 22 criminal cases including extortion, house trespass, Arms Act and attempt to murder have been registered against him. Looking at the growing graph of criminal cases the accused Pappu shifted to Piplani from Kamla Nagar. Meanwhile after losing the elections, the accused also opened fire on a family residing at Sudama Nagar in Kamla Nagar as they did not cast their votes in his favor.
