Bhopal: A 32-year-old woman allegedly committing suicide by hanging self from the ceiling fan of her house on Tuesday morning at Misrod. No suicide note was found and the reason behind the suicide is unknown. According to the police, Jaya Bhujwal of Jatkhedi area in the locality lived with her family comprising husband and two children. On Tuesday at around 9.30am her husband was in his office while her children were in school. After some time at around 11, when her brother-in-law came to her house with her children they found the door of the house locked from inside.
He called her several times to open the door but to no use after which he broke it open, only to find her hanging from the ceiling fan. He immediately informed her husband and the police about the incident, the police said. “The family members of the deceased were also not in a condition to speak to the police. The police, however, sent the body for autopsy, registering the matter under Section 174 of CrPC to initiate further investigations,” said investigating officer, ASI Mukesh Satyapak.
In another incident, a 20-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging self from the ceiling fan of her house on Monday at Kolar.
Her father had died a few years ago, and she used to live with her mother and family members. On Sunday night after having dinner she and other family members went to sleep. In the wee hours of Monday at around 4 am, when one of her family members woke up to attend nature’s call, he found her hanging from the ceiling fan and called the other family members. The police were informed. No suicide note was found at the spot and the body was sent for autopsy. A matter was registered under Section 174 of CrPC and investigations were on, added police.
