BHOPAL: The transfers of IAS officers, prior to code of conduct for Lok Sabha polls coming into force, are continuing. On Tuesday, Gwalior collector Bharat Yadav was transferred and posted as managing director, Energy Development Corporation. Anurag Chaudhary, who was posted at Energy Development Corporation, has been posted as collector, Gwalior.

MP Jyotiraditya Scindia wanted to shift Yadav from Gwalior. Yadav’s reshuffle came in the wake of Scindia making a complaint against him in a controversy on inauguration of a hospital. Yadav was posted at Gwalior just two-and-a-half months ago when Congress came to power. Yadav is son-in-law of Samajwadi party leader Chandrapal Yadav, based in Uttar Pradesh.

This was the biggest reason behind his posting at Gwalior. His transfer has been made on the plea that a complaint may be filed against him on code of conduct coming into effect.

Vinod Sharma, who was shifted from Municipal Corporation, Gwalior, has been posted as secretary, Revenue Board, Gwalior. Suresh Kumar, secretary, Revenue Board has been posted as managing director, Madhya Pradesh Audhyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam (AKVN), Gwalior.
