BHOPAL: After IPS men, transfers and postings of IAS officers are next on the agenda of the government.
Chief secretary Basant Pratap Singh, even a month after his appointment, has not been able to post officers of his choice in the districts. The postings in the Mantralaya are also according to his choice.
The transfer proposals have been forwarded to the chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. According to sources, the transfer of around three dozen officers is proposed. Some collectors, including that of Bhopal, along with officers of secretary and principal secretary levels may be transferred. Sources said the list also figures some officers who have not even completed one year on their post.
