A huge police force has been deputed outside the BJP office from Tuesday to deal with ticket seekers for the upcoming assembly elections. A large number of ticket seekers turned up at the BJP office on Monday. The followers of Devendra Pratap, who is son of Vijendra Singh Sisodia, and is looking after coordination at the BJP office, had created ruckus at the BJP office. Traffic jams were observed in the road outside BJP office due to Netas displaying their might.
Police did not allow mob to enter the BJP office. Only those, who were not in groups, were allowed to go inside. BJP state president Rakesh Singh, defending the decision, said there was no prohibition on the entry of BJP workers in the BJP office.
The arrival of date for submitting nomination for assembly election is making the ticket seekers and sitting MLAs nervous. They have also begun to visit the BJP office these days. The sitting MLAs intend to get ticket this time too while there are many, who are visiting the BJP office, ensuring that some sitting MLAs do not get ticket this time.
Sahasrabudhe’s one-to-one meet
BJP state in-charge Vinay Sahasrabudhe on Tuesday had a separate meeting with ticket seekers. Former MP Jitendra Singh Bundela, Dhool Singh, Hazarilal Dangi, Bhanu Rana. Dharmu Rai and other ticket seekers put up their claims before Sahasrabudhe.
