SHIVPURI: A health camp for women was held at the Primary Health Centre, Jawahar Colony on Wednesday under the National Urban Health Programme. The camp was inaugurated by Pohri MLA Prahlad Bharati. Women and children were examined and diagnosed at the camp and medicines were provided to them. On this occasion, CHMO Dr M. S. Sagar, DHO-1 Dr Alka Trivedi and other doctors and health workers were present.
The MLA said the state government was concerned about the health of all sections of society. Under the Deendayal Aushadhi Vitaran Yojana, free medicines are being provided to all patients while the government is arranging for the treatment of serious diseases under Rajya Bimari Sahayta Yojana. Under Atal Bal Hriday Upachar Yojana, children suffering from heart diseases are being provided free treatment.
