A 6-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a minor boy on Monday afternoon. He had taken advantage of her after offering her cold-drink, police said on Tuesday.According to ASI Raees Khan, the girl’s parents work as labourer. The 17-year-old accused lured her by offering her Pepsi while she was playing along with other children near her house at around 1pm on Monday.
The alleged accused took her to his house where he raped her and threatened to kill her if she revealed about the incident to anyone. However when she reached home, she reported pain in her private parts. On being questioned about what has transpired the girl narrated her ordeal to her mother. Later the family members approached the police. A case on charges of rape and relevant sections of POCSO Act has been registered and the alleged accused has been taken into custody.
