BHOPAL: To honour Mother Teresa, who has been declared a Saint, Bhopal Archdiocese is going to organise a mega public event on November 13 at 5.30 pm at BSSS college campus. It is being organised by Archdiocese of Bhopal.

Addressing the media persons on Monday, Archbishop Lio Carniolio said, “This celebration would be combined with the celebration of concluding day of the year of Mercy as announced by the Pope Francis from December 8, 2015 to 20 November 2016 as Jubilee Year of Mercy. It is expected that around 10,000 people will participate in this event.

During the Bhopal gas disaster, she came to Bhopal and provided her caring service to the victims and prayed for their recovery by visiting many hospitals in the city. On two occasions I got a chance to meet her and co-worked with her. She was really a greatest personality. If anyone meets her, no one can have leave without impressed by her cheering personality,” the Archbishop added.
