Bhopal(Madhya Pradesh): The last date for online applications for admission under provisions of Right to Education (RTE) has been extended from June 30 to July 5.
Director State Education Center Dhanraju S said applicants will be selected on July 14 through an online lottery for free admission in private schools as per eligibility.
At present, in view of the duty of government servants deployed in the local body election process and in the event of many parents not getting the verification work done after online application, the time-table has been amended keeping in view the interest of the students, he said.
According to the revised time-table, online application and error correction can be done on the portal till July 5.After the online application, verification will be done from the verifying officers at the nearest verification centre till July 9. Allotment of schools to children will be done through online lottery on July 14 through random method. After school allotment, the concerned child will be able to take admission till July 23 July.
