Bhopal: In a latest move government has initiated the process for allotting land to RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh) affiliated farmers wing Bhartiya Kisan Sangh. Congress has opposed the move terming it unnecessary. Controversy started after Bhopal district administration gave an advertisement in a newspaper inviting claim and objections over allotment of 8000 square feet of land in prime area of Kotra Sultanabad.
Congress has called the whole exercise as unnecessary and an action of haste before assembly elections. “BJP has now realised that it cannot form the government again therefore it has started obliging its parent organisation and its affiliates,” said Ajay Dubey of RTI wing of Congress.
“It is an exercise of loot. The current dispensation has realised that it won’t come to power again therefore it has started distributing freebees to its affiliate organizations. One should try to know the reason why any farmers’ union wants an office in the state capital,” quipped Dubey. According to advertisement district administration has given 15 days time to people to file any objection else the land would be allotted to the applicant.
Dubey said that he came to know about it through advertisement meant for Bhopal. “We believe that this game of allotting land for Bhartiya Kisan Sangh must be going on across the state. We will look into the matter and would protest against any such decision,” he added.
