Bhopal: “Artists worship art and it has no boundary of caste, creed and religion. It hardly matters whether the artist belongs to India or Pakistan. At present the state of affairs is not good. People are unnecessarily raising issues like beef party, cow slaughter ban and many more. This is very wrong and I am hurt to see or hear all these stuffs. It shouldn’t be occurred in a democratic country like India,” remarked noted playback singer Madhushree.
The Kabhi neem neem kabhi Shahad Shahad ..’ fame singer was in the city of lakes to participate in the concert. Addressing media persons here at Ashoka Lake View Hotel on Thursday, the singer shed light on her latest song, ‘Kanha soja jara…’ of Bahubali-2, “It is one of the best songs of my life. It is miracle song for me. I got call for the song in March this year. At that time, I was going through a bad phase of my life. I was hesitating to think how I will sing the song in such a short time. But finally I sang it and now i am getting great response from my fans. I am feeling very proud to be part of the big buster.”
Sharing her experience with musician and singer AR Rehman, the singer said, “I did 125 films with Rehmanji. His working style is quite different from others and I learnt a lot from him. I sang a song ‘kabhi neem-neem kabhi shahad-shahad…,’ in 13 days.”
Speaking about the reality show, the singer, whose all time favourite singer is Mohammed Rafi, said “It has everything but at the same time it is far behind the reality. It provides good platform to young talents but there is need to recognise it.
“Most of singers are doing copy of each other which should avoid. I still do practice for half-an-hour. I think we should never stop practice because it brings perfection in voice,” Madhushree added.
