BHOPAL: Chief Minister Kamal Nath and his cabinet colleagues will visit Prayagraj to participate in Kumbh next month. While currently their visit is scheduled for February 22; the date may be changed if required. Nath would be accompanied by parliamentary affair minister PC Sharma. Other ministers may also be part of the CM’s team to the holy city. Congress spokesperson Narendra Saluja said that Congress State president and Chief Minister Nath, who is a devotee of lord Hanuman, would visit the holy city for Kumbh on February 22.
The date of the visit may be changed if required. On January 6, UP deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya had met Nath here and invited him to the Kumbh which is all set to start on January 15. Nath had sought dedicated pavilion for Madhya Pradesh at the Kumbh venue. The UP minister had assured Nath of the same. Maurya had also that special trains from MP to Prayagraj for Kumbh were under consideration.
