Bhopal: Invalid Rs 40,000 stolen from Bank of Baroda

BHOPAL: Invalid currency worth Rs 40,000 was stolen from Bank of Baroda. An officer had brought it for exchange. SHO Ashish Dhruve said, “Smriti Manav is an officer in Bank of Baroda. She had Rs 40,000 in her purse. She was told by mother that her purse was at Ankur Complex. As per CCTV footage, a youth came and had meeting with chief manager Suraj Singh Parishar who was just adjacent to complainant. When complainant left for lunch. Parihar also left and youth was last one to leave.

Police registered the case after recovering purse which was not damaged.”
