Refuses to lodge plaint against boyfriend; police rush her to hospital in late night drama
BHOPAL: An Uzbek woman, having an affair with a Rajkot-based businessman, was found dumped in an injured and inebriated condition on road at Ton ‘n’ Town, New Market, late on Saturday night. However, the victim refused to lodge any complaint against her friends and no case was registered against the businessman and his friends involved in the incident.
According to TT Nagar police, Christina Messi, 35, daughter of Ajay Messi of Delhi, had come to Bhopal with her friend, another Uzbek woman Malika Sahnooz, 32, to meet her businessman friend Deepesh Virangana of Rajkot. Deepesh with his friends LIC agent Kishan came by road from Indore. Later on software businessman Jai Kishan Motwani, who was already in Bhopal, joined them. Deepesh and Kishan put up at Surendra Vilas Hotel. Christina and Malika stayed in Crown Palace Hotel, New Market.
All met in TDS Pub, DB Mall, on Saturday night where Deepesh started dancing with the other Uzbek girl, to which Christina objected. This triggered a conflict between Christina and Deepesh.
Christina broke a glass and inflected injury on her hand, which led to profuse bleeding. Consequently, Deepesh told his friends to drop her at Crown Palace. When they reached New Market, a heavily drunk Christina refused to alight from the vehicle. The friends of Deepesh then dumped her on the road and left.
A white Fortuner SUV (MP-04-CH-4056) was seen passing very close to her. The police believe it might be an attempt to crush her. In the meantime, ASP Manu Vyas was passing through New Market and he noticed Chritina lying on the road. He immediately telephoned DIG Raman Sikarwar and made arrangements to take her to JP Hospital.
ASP Rajesh Chandel said, “Deepesh’s wife had died two years back. So he became close with Christina eight months ago. Deepesh runs export–import business. Christina’s father Ajay is Delhi-based and her mother is from Uzbekistan. She has voter identity card of Delhi, while her friend Malika has PAN card. Christina was forcing Deepesh for marriage.”
