BHOPAL: The Govindpura police carried out search at Saket Nagar-based bungalow of Udayan Das in connection with triple murder case on Friday. However, police did not disclose what was recovered. Bhopal police have been saying that they are only playing supportive role to West Bengal police and have no role in the investigations.
Body of Udayan Das’s live -in partner Akansha Sharma was recovered from same residence in Saket Nagar. Special Investigating Team (SIT) of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, is already working to collect more evidence in the case.
Govindpura police took the permission from district administration to carry out search of Saket Nagar bungalow of Udayan Das. It was sealed after recovery of body of Akansha Sharma. Udayan Das is accused in triple murder as he killed his parents and live-in partner. He had killed his girl friend at buried at first floor and made tomb with marble titles. Bakura (West Bengal) police and Govindpura police had recovered the body of Akansha Sharma dismantling the tomb. After it, house was sealed.
ASP Hitesh Chaudahry said, “A team of Govindpura police had gone for the search in residence of Udayan Das but we got nothing concrete evidence. It was one day search. It was normal process. SIT of Raipur is already working in Bhopal.”
