Bhopal: Gold chain worth Rs 50,000 snatched

BHOPAL: Incidences of chain snatching are on rise in the state capital.  A woman’s gold chain worth Rs 50,000 was snatched by unidentified looter from Indrapuri under Piplani police station on Thursday.

A couple of days ago, the bike-borne youths had snatch gold chain from wife of retired BHEL officer. The bike-borne youths had asked address of someone and in the meantime, the pillion rider snatched the chain before both the looters disappeared. As per police sources, the unidentified looters snatched two tola gold chain of Mithilesh Jain, 67, resident of Sector-B Indrapuri. She reported the matter to the police.
