A two-day annual fest ‘Utkarsh 2k19’ began on Thursday at Career College. On day one, several competitions like Rangoli, face paint, nail paint, clay modelling, group folk song and dance marked the event. Students presented folk dance of different states of the country like Ghoomar and Kalbeliya dance of Rajasthan and Gidda of Punjab.
In folk song competition, Arjit Bhattacharya group from Nursing department bagged the first position while Ayushi Kamya Group from Commerce Department secured first position in folk dance competition. A ramp walk was one of the major attractions of the event. A student from Nurshing Department who was dressed in Bheel tribe bagged first position. (All Pix : Pradeep Mehra)
