A 10-day Rajasthani food festival began in a hotel in the state capital city on Friday, as per organisers.
The food festival is being organised by Hotel Courtyard by Marriott with a variety of Rajasthani dishes.
Rajasthani food expert chef Narpat Singh Rajpurohit told media persons that they had been making preparations for the festival for the past three days.
He said preparing authentic Rajasthani dishes was quite time-consuming. Also, some ingredients were brought from Rajasthan.
General Manager, Courtyard by Marriott, Bhopal Rakesh Upadhyay said “The State of Rajasthan is rich in its culture and heritage. It reflects an amalgamation of the culture, tradition and lifestyle of Rajputs, Vaishnavs and Marwaris.”
Executive Chef Amol Patil also underlined the specialties of the food festival.
