Bhopal: Feeder bus hits auto, rams car

A feeder bus ferrying passengers from Bhopal to Mandideep, hit a stationary auto before ramming a platform and then a car, injuring its passenger. Twenty passengers who were travelling in the bus were reported to be safe.  The driver of the feeder bus, which was heading towards Mandideep from Jyoti talkies, lost control over the speeding bus and first hit a parked vacant auto and overturned it.

The bus then crashed into platform of the public bus stand and rammed a car. The bus driver fled from the spot leave the bus. According to SHO Govindpura Ashok Singh Parihar, the auto driver Pappu Mohammad, 40, had gone to attend nature’s call leaving his vehicle parked near the bus stop. The bus was later seized and an FIR was registered but no arrest was made as yet. The bus passengers had left before police team from Govindpura reached the spot.
