BHOPAL: An eighteen-year-old engineering student died under mysterious circumstances at hostel of his college at Patel Nagar under Bilkiriya police station on Thursday.
According to police, deceased was identified as Ujjawal, 18, son of Baidhnath Tiwari who hails from Sasaram region in Rohtas district of Bihar state. Here he was first year student of ES branch in NRI Group of Institutions and was living in boys hostel of college.
Deceased’s roommate Sarvesh Singh who was also student of the same college in his statement told police that on Wednesday night they went in their hostel room and on next morning when he woke up, he found Ujjawal in an unconscious state after which he informed the management of hostel regarding the incident. Ujjawal was then taken to a nearby private hospital where he was declared dead by doctors.
