Bhopal: The issue of controversy triggered after the statement of home minister Bala Bachchan on Mandsaur firing incident, was raised in the House on Wednesday. Leader of opposition Gopal Bhargava, raising the issue, said now Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) will be preparing replies for assembly questions. Bhargava said it was an unprecedented constitutional crisis. MLA Narottam Mishra said Chief Minister Kamal Nath refuted the replies of ministers only when the statements of ministers were given in the House.
Mishra said it was breach of special privileges. He asked how could any person, who is not a member of the House, ask for clarification on minister’s reply. Mishra said a motion on breach of special privileges would be brought against Kamal Nath and ex-CM Digvijaya Singh. Mishra claimed that it was first time when the replies given in the House, were being changed by calling a press conference.
CM Nath on said that he knows the constitution very well. He said BJP has got chance to sit in opposition after long time and wished them happy journey. Minister for legislative affairs Govind Singh said no reply would be sent from the PCC.
Jaivardhan, Sajjan, Umang make contradictory statements
inister Sajjan Singh Verma, on the issue of Mandaur firing incident, plantation and Simhastha, said Digvijaya Singh should also train the ministers. Jaivardhan, son of Singh, said the latter had been a CM and he could impart training. Forests minister Umang Singhar said Digvijaya Singh would not have given that statement had he had studied his response completely.
