Bhopal: Former chief minister Digvijaya Singh lashed out at Congress workers who did work for party candidate for Huzur Assembly seat – which the party lost in the elections.
Using harsh words, Singh addressing Congress workers at a programme in Bairagarh on Monday said: “Jin Congress Karyakartayon Ne Pratyashi Naresh Gyanchandani Ka Kaam Kiya Ve Jindabaad Aur Jinhone Kaam Nahi Kiya Wo Murdabad.” (He hails the Congress workers who worked for Congress candidate Naresh Gyanchandani and criticizes those who did not work for the Congress candidate.
Singh, who was chief of coordination committee in Assembly elections, had got a complaint from Huzur Assembly seat that some Congress workers did not work for party candidate. Singh did a lot of hard work for winning Huzur seat but the defeat of the party candidate came as a shock for him. The anger made him using harsh words for the party workers.
