SBI on Thursday issued a press release regarding the incident in which it urged customers to keep some precautions while doing transaction at the SBI ATM machines.
The press release issued by regional manager of SBI urged customers to cover the number pad with one hand while typing the password to prevent any external device from capturing the password by recording hand movements. It also urged customers to change the password frequently and inform the customer care numbers in the ATM in case they found something suspicious in the ATM.
