With an object to ensure safety of passengers and minimize the chance of road accidents in BRTS Corridor, Bhopal City Link Limited (BCLL) has started counselling for chattered buses operators on Wednesday. Just couple of days, ago, Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) commissioner B Vijay Dutta had given permission to private chattered buses to use dedicated lane of BRTS Corridor. And operators of major chattered buss travels had participated in the meeting.
Today, BCLL CEO Sanjay Kumar convened a counselling session for operators and strictly explained them about the terms and condition. They have been strictly told that they will not be freedom for overtake in BRTS Corridor. Neither will they pick up passengers nor will they drop any passenger in the middle of BRTS corridor as only non-stop buses have been allowed to use the dedicated lanes. Kumar said, “The aim of this session was to minimize the chance of road accidents in BRTS Corridor. Buses plying in the BRTS will have to take precaution of safety measure. They will be allowed till they follow our terms and condition.”
