Bhopal: Leader of opposition (LoP) Gopal Bhargava has said that Congress is using name of Gau Mata, to serve its political interests, is condemnable. Bhargava said Congress would not be able to sail through elections in the name of ‘Gau Mata’. He said Congress could not execute on the issues of farm loan waiver, unemployment allowance. He claimed, it is now trying to mislead the farmers through different types of application forms for loan waiver. He claimed that Congress government by announcing opening of 1000 Gau Shalas across the state, was again trying to create confusion and gain votes. He said people will not get trapped in Congress’ plan.

He alleged that Congress government announcement of opening of 1000 Gau Shalas was merely making tall claims and baseless. Bhargava said Congress would be committing sin by doing politics in the name of Gau Mata. Bhargava claimed that Chief Minister during a review meeting with departmental officers had instructed them that Gau Mata should not be seen on roads. A campaign was also launched between January 16 and 21 but still cows were seen on roads. Bhargava said the statement of opening of 1000 Gau Shalas was merely a stunt.
