Bhopal: Class XI student first victim of Blue Whale game in state

Bhopal: The deadly Blue Whale game has claimed first victim in Madhya Pradesh when a 17-year-old boy of class XI completed the last stage by jumping before a running train in Damoh on Sunday early morning.

His body was found on railway track at Futera Fatak no-2(railway crossing). He is the ninth victim of blue whale game in the country. Satwik Pandey (17), son of Sanjay Pandey, went missing around 10 pm on Saturday. Sanjay works with block Zilla Panchayat while his wife is a teacher in Navin School. The parents told the police that Satwik looked tense since last few days in mobile. Meanwhile, his friends told police that the deceased was trying Blue Whale game since last few days and they had also circulated the news on social media. Police have seized Satwik’s mobile phone but as its key pad is locked it cannot be operated. The mobile handset will be sent for forensic examination, police said.

Damoh SP Vivek Agrawal said, “Satwik Pandey’s friends had put on social media that he is playing Blue Whale in mobile. We have seized the handset but as the key pad locked, it could not operate right now. It will be sent for forensic examination and the picture will be cleared after that. He was missing from his house from 10 pm on Saturday and his body was found on the railway tracks on Sunday morning.”

Earlier, another boy had attempted suicide to complete the last challenge of the game at Indore. But he was saved after his friends and teachers when they saw him trying to jump down from third floor of the school.
