Bhopal: The BSNL will provide 5GB data per day absolutely free on landline connections, not just this, it has also waived of installation charges and security deposit. However, the connection will not be given to the subscriber using China made modem. The subscribers need to get secured modems from BSNL to avail the offer.
The BSNL will provide 5GB data per day on high speed broadband through landline to make people aware of the quality and other salient features of high speed broadband. M.P. telecom circle CGMT Dr. Mahesh Shukla, informed that in compliance of Digital India policy and to aide in bringing about a digital revolution the BSNL is providing unlimited data Broadband connection free of cost to every BSNL landline subscribers.
BSNL will provide free unlimited broadband connections to every landline subscribers of BSNL from March 1 for a limited period, during which subscribers can get 5GB data per day with upto 10 Mbps speed and after that unlimited data on 1Mbps speed, next day subscribers will again use such data accordingly. In this way free unlimited data will be available throughout the month on subscriber’s landline connection.
Dr. Shukla added that fibre based broadband service having a very high speed broadband. Another reason for providing free broadband service is that, after the final examination of schools and colleges, the students can make use this broadband services to get information about tourist places and plan their holidays. Customer premise equipment (Modem) shall be customer owned. Whereas there is no charge of installation and security deposit.
