BHOPAL: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has begun to conduct meeting with state BJP leaders in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. RSS Kshetrapracharak Deepak Vispute had a long meeting with former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state president Rakesh Singh and organizational general secretary Suhas Bhagat on Friday.
Several office bearers of RSs were present in the meeting. According to sources, the names to be fielded in Lok Sabha polls were discussed in the meeting. The RSS is going to launch a country-wide campaign for the BJP forming government at the Centre again.
The said campaign would be launched across the state. The candidates were selected in previous general elections, considering Sangh’s choice. This time too, several candidates would be fielded considering Sangh’s choice. A discussion on changes in BJP organizations with the RSS leaders was also held. Several organizational secretaries are to be removed prior to the LS polls.
Sangh’s crucial meeting in Gwalior from March 8
A three-day meeting of RSS’ Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha is going to be held at Gwalior from March 8. As many as 1500 RSS representatives across the country would be attending the meeting, said a Sangh’s press release. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat along with all main leaders of the Sangh would attend the meeting. The meeting may feature passing some proposals on country’s prevailing conditions. The year-long works of RSS would also be reviewed. It is the most important meeting of RSS where all major decisions are taken.
