Bhopal: BR Nikshep bags singles title, Parikshit Somani, Taha Kapadia win doubles

BHOPAL: The final of the tournament organized by Future Tennis Academy under the aegis of Shree Krishna Tennis Utthan Samiti was played between BR Nikshep of Karnataka and Taha Kapadia of Telangana. Nikshep won the first set by 6-1 but lost the second set by 1-6. In the deciding set, Nikshep played cautiously, did not repeat the mistakes he made in the second set and won the set by 6- 3.

In the final of men’s doubles team of Parikshit Somani (Assam) and Taha Kapadia (Telangana) defeated BR Nikshep and Aprup Reddy in straight sets of 6-1, 6-3 to win the trophy. Mineral and resource department principal secretary Neeraj Mandloi was the chief guest of the prize distribution ceremony and- Bank of Maharashtra zonal manager Mukesh Saini presided over the ceremony. Additional chief election officer Sandeep Yadav, Rajeev Gandhi College sports head Shyam Mishra and IK Mahajan were also present on the occasion.
