The leader of opposition Ajay Singh has accused BJP leaders of committing land scam in Orcha and demanded high level inquiry into it. He alleged that BJP leaders have got registered government land in their names on forged documents. In Orcha, BJP leaders fraudulently got ownership over government land at khasara number 574/2 and 249/2, claimed Singh. In 2010, BJP MLA Anil Jain had allegedly occupied government land and got its ownership rights transferred in name of his wife Niranjana Jain, alleged Singh. Today two plots of 48,00 and 5000 square feet respectively are in the name of Jain’s wife, said Singh.
The Congress leader further alleged that the MLA representative Arvind Choubey also got government land measuring 5000 square feet at khasara number 249/2 transferred in name of his wife Deepmala Choubey. Singh claimed that the land grabbed fraudulently by BJP leaders were worth corers and importantly land belonged to the government. “These land registries were done on the fake and forged papers, the government should file a case against the seller and buyer of the land,” demanded Singh.
