Bhopal: Voices of undergraduate second year students of Advanced Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) who have been staging a sit-in at Board Square for over a week have gone unheard, but they are not ready to give up.

The students have been demanding the government to shift them to other college as their medical institute has been debarred from taking admission for academic session 2017-18 by the MCI. The students who have been protesting for over a week are finding it hard to continue their stir in this sweltering heat but are not ready to give in.

A number of protesters have developed health problems, some of them were had to be admitted to the hospital for medical assistance. However, facing all challenges more than 50 students were sitting in protest.

The student union wings like the NSUI and the ABVP have extended their support to their protest. The students began their protest two days ago after the Bhopal visit of the President Ram Nath Kovind. The students were removed from the protesting site during the president’s visit.
