Bhopal: 50 tourist survive scare as resort staff lock up Leopard in the kitchen

Bhopal: Panic prevailed on the MP tourism resort in Seoni near Pench Tiger Reserve after a Leopard entered into it on Wednesday. 50 tourist who were present in the the Pench Kipling Court (CP) resort had a narrow escape as the resort staff locked the leopard in room.

Resort Assistant Manager Vivek Singh Thakur said,  “one of staff spotted leopard in morning. Initially he was a bit confused but soon, he realized that it was leopard. Soon, tourists were told to stay in room and not to venture out.” “Forest department team made safe passage for leopard and took it away from resort. All the tourists are safe,” he said.

Pench tiger reserves director Vikram Singh Parihar said, “Leopard was locked in kitchen. Our team made safe passage for leopard without tranquilizing it.We pressed the team into job from morning and finished the job by 10.00am.”
