BHOPAL: A five-day make-up workshop ‘Glam Brush’ began on Monday in Chawla House, near Tripti Apartments, Idgah Hills. On day one, participants were trained about skincare, brushes, and product knowledge and makeup application techniques under the guidance of Mitali Goswami who has done make up course from the United Kingdom. She later got certified as an international make-up artist from London College of Make-up, Dubai.

Informing about the workshop, Goswami said, “I give make-up training to students as a pro make-up class for five days. The first day is about skincare, brushes, and product knowledge and makeup application techniques. The second day includes a demonstration of natural makeup look, contouring and highlighting. We will teach about eye makeup looks (four looks), eyebrow technique and eyeliner on third day,” adding, “I believe in creativity of one’s own and therefore the last day I allow students to create their own looks from their creativity and draw that on a face sheet and then on their faces. This way students learn the product better.”

“Such workshops help everyone to be acquainted with the trending styles, the tricks and tips, changing styles according to weather, different looks for occasions and so on. It not only helps in make up but building up their personality. Make up gives confidence and style to the personality too. I help my other followers too on Facebook and Instagram as ‘glambrush.by.mitali’ in giving the newest trends and tips,” said the young make-up artist.
