Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced 24 candidates for Lok Sabha elections and it has also denied ticket to 10 of its sitting MPs. The party has not yet announced its candidates from Bhopal, Indore, Sagar, Vidisha and Guna seats and it is possible that four sitting MPs may not get ticket this time. It is sure that Alok Sanjar from Bhopal, Sushma Swaraj from Vidisha, Sumitra Mahajan from Indore and Laxminarayan Yadav from Sagar would not get ticket this time. Former minister Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya lost to Jyotirdaditya Scindia from Guna seat.
