BHOPAL : Union minister of state for social justices and empowerment Ramdas Athawale said he wanted to meet chief minister in connection with suspended IAS officer Shashi Karnawat to get her reinstated in the services. The minister was on tour of the state capital and attended a programme at Ravindra Bhawan in the city on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion he said that the state government has taken good decision in favour of dalit IAS Ramesh Thete, but another suspended IAS Karnawat is still in dilemma for last three years.

He also advocated that the movement going against the reservation would peter out. He asked to the government that those caste or communities demanding reservations should be given the benefits. For this the government should make amendment in the parliament.

Reservation for the economically weaker sections should also be given.

He asked that the state government should revise the scholarship given to the SC/ST and OBC students in every three years.

He asked that many states are contributing their part in the scholarship along with the centre allotment, and the MP government should also contribute its part in the scholarships. He also asked that the state government should promote inter-caste marriages in the state.
