BHOPAL : The budget session of the state Assembly will commence from Tuesday with the Governor’s address. The annual Budget would be presented on February 26.
The session would conclude on April 1. In the 39-day session, the House will have 23 sittings. More than 6,721 questions have been submitted to the Assembly Secretariat by the MLAs. Besides, notices of 94 calling-attention motions, one adjournment motion and 58 government resolutions have also been submitted. The government may table a Bill hiking the salary and allowances of MLAs in the session. Leader of Opposition Satyadev Katare would not attend the session as he is under treatment in the USA. Deputy Leader of Opposition Bala Bachan and whip Ramnivas Rawat will lead the opposition contingent.
