BHOPAL : Leader of Opposition Satyadev Katare may be raising his voice against state government and the Assembly Speaker as part of his duty but the government and the state Assembly are showing full empathy towards him. Ten thousand US dollars have been sanctioned for his tests in a Cancer Institute in the USA.
The State Assembly will bear the expenses of tests. The proposal has been approved by the state government.
A proposal in this regard has been sanctioned by Director, Medical Education and it has been sent to Finance Department, which has also given its approval. Earlier, the state government had given a special approval of Rs 48 lakh for Katare’s treatment in Mumbai, which was released from the budget of State Assembly.
According to Assembly’s Principal Secretary, Bhagwandas Israni, Leader of Opposition has sought 10,000 Dollar for medical testing in USA.
He said a proposal for sanctioning of this amount has been sent to the state government.
