Mhow : Army Public School ( APS), Mhow was entrusted with the responsibility of hosting Inter Army Public Schools, Cluster IV Central Command Football Tournament, which culminated on Friday. The Chief Guest on the occasion was the Hon’ble Chairman of the School Brig.
Abhay A Bhat, who was accorded a warm welcome by the Principal Mr. P. K Tiwari.
A three day event commenced on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in which 5 teams from Central Command participated enthusiastically.
APS Jabalpur No. 1, APS Jabalpur No. 2, APS Gaya, APS Ramgarh and APS Meerut from Cluster III participated . The tournament was played on league followed by knockout basis.
The finals of the tournament was played between APS Jabalpur No. 1 and APS Meerut.
APS Meerut registered its spectacular win by 3- 1.
Later the Prize Distribution Ceremony was held in which the Chief Guest gave away the Prizes and Certificates to the participating and winning teams. The Principal, PK Tiwari congratulated the winners for their excellent performance and expressed his gratitude towards the officials and the participating team for the smooth conduct of the tournament. He also appreciated the endeavours of the Tournament Coordinator Adnan Jamil for his guidance and support.
