Bhikangaon : Anant Chaturdashi was celebrated with numerous tableaux presentation till 2 am in the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday. Thousands of devotees from the city and villages gathered to view the show on the main road.
Snacks and food were distributed at various places by Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh Mandir committee and Kanha Mitra Mandal Subhash Road. Shitala Mata Ganesh Utsav Committee organized a Bhajan Sandhya. Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh Utsav Committee and Youth Press Club distributed prizes to the tableaux.
Shivkumar Gupta, Dinesh Sharma and Deepak thakur from shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh Utsav Committee presented first prized to Mayur Ganesh Mandal. Atul Sagar, Surendra Gupta, Pintu Sharma, Shantilal Mukati, Pawan Lad, Akhilesh Soni and Shailendra Gupta awarded first prize to Jay Mahakal Ganesh Mandal’s tableau ‘The Great Mahakal Circus’.
The programme was attended by journalists from Press Club. Piyush Varma, Harish Sharma and Prashant Bhalse conducted the programme. The Press Club President Chandan Sharma proposed vote of thanks.
Manawar : It was raining on the Anant Chaturdashi so the tableaux were taken out on the next day. The viewers gathered from the evening. The tableaux reached Gandhi Square at around 11:30. Hamaraj Mitra Mandal, Ram Penal, Balaji Group, Aaryans Group, Ganraj Mitra Mandal, Iglas Group tableaux were specially made keeping religious theme on mind. Lord Shiv, Yamraj and Savitri conversation, Kshatriya Sirvi Samaj’s Garba Parv, Narmada River and Gangor Parv tableaux were the most prominent ones. TI Basant Naik was present for arrangements with heavy police force. Gram Raksha Samiti (Village Safety Committee)Karoli members also reached for help.
