Bhopal: A 20-year-old man was allegedly killed by a accused father-son duo at Govindpura Industrial area in Ashoka Garden and dumped body at a stone quarry in Ayodhya Nagar on Sunday. The man was allegedly killed over molesting the daughter of the accused in industrial area on Saturday but his body was recovered on Sunday. Earlier a missing person complaint was registered at Ashoka Garden area on Saturday, police said.
According to the police a body was found at a stone quarry on Sunday after which the locals informed the police about it. After recieving the information the police reached the spot. The deceased was identified as Rahul Kori, a resident of Housing Board Colony in Ayodhya Nagar who used to work as a labourer in one of the factory at Govindpura Industrial area.
In the initial investigation it was found that the head was smashed with stone to hide the identity of the deceased. The police also found that the deceased had a fight with the two accused identified as Chandrabhan Singh and his son Deepak Singh as he was accused of molesting Chandrabhan’s daughter, police added.
“The deceased had a fight with the two accused on Saturday after which they assaulted and killed him. The duo smashed his head with stone and later dumped his body at Shankar stone quarry in Ayodhya Nagar. They used plastic bag to carry the body of the deceased on a two-wheeler before dumping it,” said station house officer, VS Chouhan adding a case has been registered against the two under relevant sections of IPC and investigations are on.
