New York : Police have killed the suspected man who unleashed a volley of pepper spray at audience members in a movie theater in Nashville. According to the New York Times, the man was identified as Vincente David Montano of Nashville. He was carrying two backpacks and wearing a surgical mask, possibly to protect himself from the pepper spray he unleashed in large amounts, said Don Aaron, Metro Nashville Police spokesman. Aaron said that three people were hit with the spray and treated while a total of eight people were present in the theatre. The violence at the Carmike Hickory 8 complex in the Antioch area of southeast Nashville comes about two weeks after a 59-year-old drifter opened fire inside a movie theater in Lafayette, La.
