Sydney : Australian photographer Peter Lik created a world record this week by selling one of his pictures “Phantom” for $6.5 million, a media report said Friday citing his website. Lik has made art history by selling the most expensive photograph ever – setting a world record, Xinhua quoted a statement on Lik’s website lik.com as saying, according to IANS. Phantom, the black and white picture shows a shaft of light cutting through an Arizona landscape. It is reportedly the most expensive photograph ever sold.
