Melbourne : An Islamic State recruit from New Zealand has reportedly set up a LinkedIn account, describing himself as an “education management professional” working in the Syrian city of Raqqa for his employers — ISIS.

“Living in the heart of the Islamic State is a good experience and I encourage others to come and see for themselves,” Muhammad Daniel, who is originally from New Zealand and has changed his name from Mark John Taylor, said in his profile.  “There’s no danger here and a great place to bring up the family. Except Western Jet fighters that always drop bombs on Civilians,” he was quoted as saying in his profile by stuff.co.nz.

According to his Linkedin profile, Daniel has been teaching English to children in Raqqa under Islamic State since October 2014.  The profile lists Daniel’s occupation as an “education management professional”. In the past, Daniel has used social media to announce he had burned his New Zealand passport and encourage others to wage jihad on Anzac Day, the report said. But his most notable social media faux pas came in 2014 when he outed the location of ISIS fighters to Western intelligence agencies, it said, reports PTI.
