New York : Three-dimensional printed braces have helped a disabled dog run like normal again. Derby, a husky, was born with deformed front limbs and had to drag himself on his front elbows, scratching himself on rough surfaces. After Tara Anderson, an employee of design and manufacturing firm called 3D Systems, saw him, a team got together to create two prosthetic devices that fitted onto Derby’s forelimbs, Discovery News reported. The prosthetics are loop-shaped extensions that rock while Derby walks and runs
