Mumbai : Chembur Trackmasters garnered 331 points to emerge supreme in their 14th Poinsur Gymkhana Minithon Road Races, held around their sports complex at Kandivali here on Sunday. They were followed behind were Dr. Naravane’s Sports Academy, who totaled 116 points, while Abhinav Soports Academy came third with 73 points. Sheshnath Chauhan from VPM Sports Club, maintained a steady pace as completed the 10 kms distance in 27:32.2 secs. Close on the heal was Dr. Narvane’s Jagdish Gavade, who clocked 27:59.9 secs. It was Dr. Nafravane’s Omiga Kali, who carried home the women’s trophy, covering the distance of 5 kms in 21.30 secs. Among the juniors, the most impressive performers were Mayuri Sutar from Dr. Naravane’s SA in the girls under-16 three km run with timing of 12:08.9 secs. And Chembur Trackmasters’ Dinesh, won the boys under-16 five km run in `18.14.9 secs.
