Mumbai: Income Tax adopting an attacking approach did well to convert most of the chances that came their way enroute to a comfortable 4-0 margin of victory against Mumbai Muslims in a Super Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel, on Thursday evening.

Dominating the proceedings from the outset, Income Tax made repeated raids towards the Mumbai Muslims citadel and their efforts fetched them four goals. The spearhead of their attack Bhomeet Vathan scored twice, while Madan Takelia and Pratamesh Powal, both netted one each to complete the tally.

Meanwhile in a First Division encounter played earlier in the afternoon, BPT Sports Club outplayed Holy Cross winning by a convincing 6-0 margin. The highlight of the match was the triple strikes by Ganesh M. The other three goals were scored by Ish Tiyaque, Aniket Gaikwad and Vinayak Dalvi to complete the rout. There will be no matches at this venue on Friday, April 18.
