Changwon (South Korea) : India’s rifle troika of Olympic bronze medallist Gagan Narang, Chain Singh and Sanjeev Rajput, who survived their respective elimination rounds on Tuesday, failed to make it to the 50m Rifle 3 Positions finals on Wednesday at the shooting World Cup (Rifle/Pistol) here.
The closest to the final berth was Chain Singh, who could not make it to the qualification round, giving way to Russian Nazar Loginets by just a single point. Chain managed to score 1,173 while Narang finished 33rd with a total of 1,162 and Rajput finished 47th, scoring 1,155.
