Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey reportedly died by suicide on Sunday at a hotel in Varanasi.

Her death has sent shockwaves in the Bhojpuri film industry and an investigation has been launched to find out the reason behind the 25-year-old's demise.

While her family and friends still mourn the sudden demise of the starlet, her co-star Kajal Raghwani has claimed that her death is not a case of suicide.

Kajal Raghwani's shocking claims

On Sunday, hours after the news of Akanksha's demise broke, Kajal took to her Instagram handle to bid her farewell to the late actress.

However, she made some shocking claims in her cryptic note which hinted that she knew about what was bothering the late actress.

She also stated that Akanksha could not have killed herself and used the hashtag '#ItIsNotSuicide'.

In a note which she penned in Hindi, Kajal wrote, "You fears were indeed true and today you let your fear win against your courage. You had shared your feelings with everyone before leaving for another shoot. Now you need not worry about the things that were bothering you while you were here. I hope you now get the happiness that you could not get while you were here."

The note further read, "But I will not believe that you killed yourself. The price of true love should not be paid by ending your life or claiming someone's life. Be happy wherever you are. Rest in peace. #itisnotsuicide #justiceforaakanshadubey".
