Police housing corp tells HC it wants land or compensation

Mumbai: Maharashtra State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation today told the Bombay High Court that it wanted back its plot of land reserved for policemen in Worli, which was allotted to a group of MLAs and bureaucrats or adequate compensation in return. The corporation informed that another plot of land was promised to them in suburban Andheri in lieu of its land in Worli.
