Navshakti-FPJ to present ‘Budget Analysis’ today

Mumbai : The Navshakti-Free Press Journal group of papers will present its annual ‘Union Budget Analysis’ programme on Friday, July 18, at the Garware Club House, D Road, Churchgate. The programme will begin at 4 pm.

Bombay Stock Exchange Investment Protection Fund, Indian Oil Corporation, NKGSB Bank, Punjab & Maharashtra Co-Op Bank are the co-sponsors of the programme, while DD Mumbai is the media partner. The analysis will be telecast over the Sahyadri channel at 7.15 pm on Sunday (July 20).

Chief guest Y M Deosthali, CMD of L&T Finance Holdings, will analyse the budget from the infrastructure perspective, while Milind Kamble, Chairman of Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DICCI), will analyse it from the perspective of small and medium scale industries. CFO of Indian Register of Shipping, Vinay Kshirsagar, will review the financial allocations for the ‘surface transport’ sector. Dr Varadraj Bapat from IIT Mumbai will put forth his views about the difference this budget would make to the field of education and the NGO sector. Chandrashekhar Vaze, Chairman of Janakalyan Co-op bank, will shed light on the income tax provisions for the companies while finance advisor Vinayak Kulkarni will review the provisions for the small investors.

Smita Sandane from Saraswat Co-op Bank, finance expert Arun Kelkar and ACP Ravikiran Paradkar too will present their views on the budget during the programme which is open for all.
